In 1992 I met and married the love of my life. I was born and raised in south Texas as a pure country girl and he was born and raised in north Texas as a true cowboy. Not only did I start my new life with a husband, but with a 5 year old son full of spunk and energy. This ready made family was off on a new adventure called “Life”. Through the years, our family continued to include the many different animals that we all loved and cared for. We raised show rabbits fro the first seven years of our marriage, along with many exotics, such as prairie dogs, hedgehogs and flying squirrels. In that time we also had a menagerie of farm animals and exotic birds. In 1999, we decided we would like to try a different adventure, breeding and raising quality working puppies. And with that we bought our two Aussie girls, Tanner and Shaylie. I took advantage of all the free information and began learning all about the breed and what traits were good, bad and even deadly. From temperament to genetic flaws, I was determined to breed the best I could breed and make sure we could place our pups in homes that could benefit not only from the wonderful family dogs they were but the exceptional herding abilities they had too. We added the Cocker Spaniels and Dachshunds and I continued to learn more about the breeds. Our 18 year old son had moved out to begin his life in May 2005, and on October 16th, 2005, God brought our family the blessing of a lifetime. We were going to start our family all over again! On May 30th, 2006, our 2nd son was born. Now that we had the new baby and my choice of going to work or staying at home with him had to be made, we increased our kennel size so that I could stay at home and do what I love best, BE A MOM!
